From 1–8 October 2026, Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives celebrates Chinese Golden Week with an eight-day programme of festive dining, cultural activities and family experiences in the Maldives. Coinciding with China’s National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, the week brings touches of Chinese tradition to island life while giving families time and space to reconnect in the Maldives.

Dining takes centre stage throughout the celebrations. Guests can gather for a special Dragon Buffet, discover the resort’s signature Chinese Roast Duck and interactive Wan Suk Hot Pot at East, or enjoy oceanfront Teppanyaki at Mar-Umi. Special Golden Week cocktails and mocktails complete the experience.

With eight restaurants across the island, families can move from familiar Asian favourites to Japanese-Peruvian cuisine, beachfront dining and international flavours throughout their Golden Week holiday in the Maldives.

At Kuda Fiyo Kids Club, younger guests can discover elements of Chinese tradition through creative workshops, cultural activities, games and culinary experiences, alongside the outdoor adventures of island life.
